Funny things Gabe says
My friend, Jocelyn, recently blogged about funny things her boy, Eli, says. Gabe has been cracking me up lately so I thought I would do the same. It would be a shame to not remember this stuff down the road.
Getting Gabe a drink:
"No, I hode it!" He always wants to hold the cup while the drink is being poured. He stared intently into the cup the whole time.
Seating assignments:
Gabe: "No,I sit he-uh." (As he tries to push you out of your chair.)
Whoever is being pushed out of the chair: "Then where do I sit?"
Gabe: "On the floor."
Accidently dropping something:
"Uh oh. I knock it off"
About anything he wants to do:
"That is a good i-d-uh!" (idea)
Working on potty training:
Made it to the toilet in time, but not propely aimed, he loudly proclaims, "I peed on the floor!"
Loves the Hulk:
While jabbing an object in your direction as if in a sword fight.
"RAR! I am the Hulk. Sthth!" (A kind of short, hissing sound.)
Loves our dog, Sandy, but hates being licked by her. This is problem because he is right at tongue level:
"Waw, Sandy eat me!"
Speaking of Sandy....Gabe is very helpful when calling for Sandy to come outside:
"Saaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddyyyyyyyyy! Come he-uh!"
Sadly looking into my empty cup of chocolate milk that I did not share:
"You drank the ho thing."
Whenever he doesn't want to get dressed, take a nap, eat a meal, etc:
"Not right now. Maybe later."
Side note:
Gillian has become really vocal over the last month or two. She squeals and yells really loudly and then looks really impressed with herself for making such a noise. It is pretty funny. Gabe was getting upset about it though because it can be pretty loud and a little startling. We have been telling him that Gillian is a baby and this is the only way she knows how to talk. Now Gabe talks back to her in a loud squeal/yell. It has become a sort of yelling contest between the two. Gillian squeals and Gabe immediately immitates her. They go back and forth all through dinner and when riding in the car. It is pretty funny. Loud, but funny.
